Week 2 TRACK NEWSLETTER

Hello all.....Wow...Great first week. We are now over 130 and still a few to go.

With so many, we want to remind everyone of the DEADLINE to order uniforms and spirit great/ Shirts, backpacks, warmups, etc.
Uniforms are optional, but sizes are limited. Tonight Sunday is the deadline to order, as orders must be made Monday!

Remember to read the site...Loose Sublimated jersey runs big so order smaller. Compression is the same. I have been having kids try these out. We will check out to those who do not purchase. First come based on varsity first. We will have a uniform for everyone varsity and sub varsity/jv. We will get uniforms for this week handed out by Wednesday

#2 PLEASE READ: There will be an important parent meeting tomorrow evening MONDAY MARCH 6TH AT 6PM....note the time...in the large gym

This is a meeting for ALL NEW parents to Track and Field and all sports here at Legend. Mr Boley will address our training rules and services, expectations and resources that every athlete and parent will need to know. I highly recommend this if you have never been to an athletic night or are new to athletics at Legend. New parents of track should attend if possible.

Everyone is invited. The program will be short with an opportunity to ask questions about our track program in room D208 following the presentation. If you have questions, please email the coaches

20 emails...for snapraise. Remember this is essential for the growth of our program! We want to improve from last year. There will be prizes to be earned as well. Bring your 20 emails on Tuesday March 7th. Save them on your phone if you can. Bring your phone to F104 on Tuesday at 3:20pm

ARIZONA: We are gathering names of all interested. If you are on the first varsity lineup for the League Relays, then you are officially invited. See this blog and website for more info on Arizona. All money earned through fundraising/deposits will go towards the fee for Arizona. The trip is open to all varsity first, and then anyone who want to compete. We are limited to 36 on the trip and events also have limits and standards. See Coach this week!! We have everything ready to go, but we need commitments and a deposit. We have the bus ordered and hotel rooms reserved. We are very flexible on the costs....with payment after our fundraising. Please see Coach Miller or Coach Wiederstein
